Jr Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

1. Design Support:

• Assist senior engineers in the design and development of mechanical systems and components for electromechanical products.
  
• Utilize CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed mechanical designs and drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
  
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimize mechanical designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  

2. Prototyping and Testing:

• Support the prototyping process by assisting in the creation of prototypes and conducting tests to evaluate mechanical performance.
  
• Assist in setting up test fixtures and equipment, conducting tests according to established procedures, and documenting test results.
  
• Work with senior engineers to analyze test data, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on designs.
  

3. Manufacturing Support:

• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure that mechanical designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
  
• Assist in resolving any mechanical issues that arise during production, implementing design modifications or process improvements as needed.
  

4. Documentation and Compliance:

• Assist in preparing technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test reports.
  
• Ensure that mechanical designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  

5. Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and technicians, to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components.
  
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  

6. Learning and Development:

• Continuously learn and expand technical skills through on-the-job training, mentorship, and self-study.
  
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering, contributing fresh ideas and insights to the team.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design.
  
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
