Chef De Cuisine - 5 - Star Hotel

A 5-star hotel in Manama, Bahrain is seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Cuisine to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a strong focus on fine dining. As the Chef De Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations, designing and implementing menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
2. Create and develop innovative menus that meet the needs and preferences of guests
3. Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with the hotel's standards and guidelines
4. Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants
5. Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
6. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
8. Collaborate with other departments, such as banquet and catering, to ensure seamless service
9. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings
10. Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Chef De Cuisine or similar role in a high-end hotel or restaurant
2. Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
3. Excellent leadership and management skills
4. Strong creative and innovative abilities
5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
6. Exceptional attention to detail
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
10. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
